Jelínek, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This thesis discusses of the intake tract four-stroke ignition internal combustion engine and the filling efficiency and opportunities to increase this efficiency and consequently to optimize the course of torque and power at the specified serial engine. 3D model is the last point of this thesis.
Bus wiring systems for complex building management
Mokrý, Lukáš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The aim of my thesis is to examine current opportunities of bus wiring systems for complex building management, mainly its power and economic evaluation. It can be simply called intelligent electrical installation. I will examine two systems from INELS and ABB company. These systems contain functional components, mainly modules and controllers. By means of other materials, I’ll create a panel. Components will be placed there and electrically connected. After this, systems will be put into operation and programmed by means of their software. The next step is measuring of quatities during the various conditions of systems and consumption, which is one of the main aims of the thesis. Two apparatuses will be used for measuring. This thesis itself will contain theoretical analysis of systems, their description, using the way of operation and main advantages and disadvantages. Single components and complete process of measuring and working in laboratory will be described. An overall evaluation and comparison of the systems from various points of view, including the price, will be put together from results.
DC/DC converter 12V/300V
Žurek, Jan ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This Bachelor´s Thesis is about switch power supplies theory. It contains comparation with power supplies made of linear components and briefly describes principals of each type. Bigger attention is devoted to fly-back engagement, on which´s basic is then in practice designed particular switch power supply. All key components are counted, including initiation of important species interaction, especially of transformator, MOSFET semiconductor triode, output diode, and there are chosen important components, which are subsequently implemented into the particular switch power supply engagement. This blocking engagement turned out to be functionless. That was why I decided to use engagement called half-bridge, which was viable.
Uncertainty Calculation by the Monte Carlo Method
Kósa, Valentin ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor’s diploma thesis deals with the measurement inaccuracies. Various types of uncertainty, methods, their specifications and ways of their recording are described. Next, Monte Carlo method and its application are introduced to the reader. Next, both methods described are applied: calculation of accuracy using uncertainty – GUM method and calculation of accuracy using Monte Carlo method. The methods are applied in measurements of DC current at resistive load with different meters.
Photovoltaic cells for supplying low-consumption electronic devices
Stránský, Patrik ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Slavíček, Karel (advisor)
Goal of this bachelor thesis is to design the power supply for low-consumption electronic devices based on Lithium-polymer battery, which will be charged by photovoltaic cells. The main task is construction of Li-Pol battery charger which will respect fluctuating voltage supplied by solar cell.
Propulsion unit of competition model airplane
Vančo, Miroslav ; Matějů, Jiří (referee) ; Hájek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the design and validation of the operation of the model propulsion system, according to the Aero Design East rules. The introduction is focused on rules and regulations of the competition and then, the point analysis is carried out. The research section is devoted to an overview of the propulsion system components and their basic parameters. The most appropriate configurations of the propulsion system are selected, based on calculations from the manufacturer´s datasheet. These configurations are then validated by measurements of static thrust and measurements in aerodynamic tunnel. In these measurements, the responses of the limiter for boundary power are also examined. In the last part, the choice of the propulsion system is completed.
Calculation of electrodynamic forces in 250 A circuit breaker
Görig, Michal ; Dohnal, Petr (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the calculation of electrodynamic forces breaker BD250NE305. Main tasks in this semester project is to study the theoretical analysis of individual parts specified breakers. Processing theoretical analysis of these forces. Creating a 3D model current path and sheets quenching chamber single phase circuit breaker in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2012. Another challenge is the subsequent export the model into the simulation program ANSYS Maxwell. After simulation, the specified conditions must be processed and the results of the present work is to evaluate.
Simulation of steady-state and dynamic behavior of low-temperature fuel cell
Smugala, Ondrej ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is concerned with mathematic modelling of low temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). First part of the thesis is focused on explaining the principle of production of electricity by this type of source. The main advantages and disadvantages of this technology are presented there. A division of fuel cells according to the stack temperature and the kind of used electrolyte is also made in this part. Typical technical information is mentioned for every type of fuel cell. The rest of thesis is concerned with the PEMFC. Firstly there is a description of construction of fuel cell and a presentation of applications in the industry. The second part of work includes a mathematical description of steady and dynamic behavior of fuel cell which is based on relations among fundamental parameters and quantities. The other part contains all results of simulation which was made on a model created in Matlab Simulink. Comparison of the results of real measurement with the results of simulation which was performed on a modified model is provided in the last part of thesis.
Time changes of the photovoltaic cells properties
Kvapil, Jakub ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis is about the problematics of perovskite, production of perovskite structure and measurment of photovoltaic cells. The introduction deals with material properties and sctructure of perovskite. There is explained a problem of perovskit photovoltaic cells and production of perovskite structure. Then the measurement methods are explained, which are used for evaluation of photovoltaic cells properties.
Optimization of cooperation power station blocks
Smarž, Patrik ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The introduction of this bachelor´s thesis deals with basic terminology used in the power plants. It details the terms: work, power, and efficiency. The other part deals with basic thermal circulation of a condensation power plant and possibilities to increase the thermal circulation efficiency. It describes improvement of admission steam parameters, especially dealing with a steam superheater. Regeneration heating, steam heating and pressure decrease in the condenser are explained as other options of the thermal circulation efficiency improvement. Furthermore, it deals with consumption and cost characteristics of a power generating facility and optimisation of operation of power plants and heating plants in the EC. The model showes an explanation of an optimal distribution of power outputs of two cooperating power units at a given load.
